About

Ben Peters is an innovative, up and coming director best known for his work producing UK urban music videos with stunning visuals and high production values.
Born to a Zimbabwean Father and an American Mother Ben was raised in North London. After studying Film and Television at Brunel University he began his career working in a leading post production facility in Soho as a runner and worked his way up to become an offline editor. Along this career path he came across some of the industries best young editors, producers, and cinematographers who helped him create his music video debut, the UK Hip Hop classic ‘Sometimes’ by Baby Blue feat Sway.
His cinematic flair and high production values, even when working with low budgets put him in increasing demand in the shrinking music video industry. Peters has gone on to become one of the most notable urban music video directors in UK, working with the top, garage, grime, R’n’B and Hip Hop acts from across the country including N Dubz, Kano, Wiley, Sway, Camilla, May7ven, Sincere, Mike Skinner and Professor Green to name but a few.
Much of Ben’s success is attributed to his communication skills with the creatives and crew he works with and his ability to grasp a full understanding of what exactly the client wants and deliver it. Some of Ben Peters less known work has become recognizable for his signature cameos, long stedi-cam shots and experimental narratives.
